Our backyard is nearly perfect! It has been almost 7 years since we moved in and the terrible steep hill is now gone. The new grass and patio are wonderful. This is the new addition:

And now, the gate moved forward to match our neighbors. The concrete will be extended to the gate as soon as the soil has settled for a few months.
The back is so awesome, the kids have had a blast playing in the new space!
The path is wonderful for scooter races and for taking out the garbages.
The grass will be filled in within just a few weeks. The cherry and apple trees are growing really well, and the garden is producing lettuce, spinach, and strawberries all ready.
We love our back yard, the croaking frogs, and singing birds are so relaxing to listen to.
My favorite part, the Fern Garden I added to remind me of Grandma and Grandpa Colvin's backyard!
