Baseball is finally over! We loved the excitement and successes of the games. Parker improved from holding his mitt on the wrong hand and striking out over and over, to hitting every at bat for the last three games, and even earning a defense award from a great play he made at third base. Parker's team ended up with Second place in the play-offs, it was a disappointing loss. We had held the Reds and were ahead by 2 until the last inning when they scored 3 runs and won by one. The boys were very sportsmanlike especially due to their great coaches who taught them well from day one. We will miss John and Marcus, but can't wait to play again with them next year.
