Hamburger Soup
1 lb lean ground beef
1 roll Jimmy Dean Hot sausage
Salt and pepper to taste, brown and drain off fat.
1 onion diced
3-4 stalks celery sliced
3 carrots sliced
Sweat onions in 2 T canola oil until softened but not brown.
Add onions and carrots to meat in a pot and add 2 quarts tomato Juice or V-8,
2 cans of beef broth or 2 T beef base and 2 cups water.
Simmer soup with 1 T parsley flakes, 1 T rosemary, 1 T sweet basil, 1 T oregano.
You can also add pasta or potatoes when you are simmering.
This freezes well without the pasta or potatoes
