Recipe of the day June 2nd

Soft Yogurt Rolls

1 cup water
3 T honey
1 T yeast
Mix together and let it sit until bubbly, about 10 min.
Add
1 cup plain yogurt
1 1/2 t salt
1 T oil
3-4 cups flour white or wheat.
I mix mine in the kitchen aid with the hook, when it all comes together let it knead for 2-3 min.
Let the dough rise in a bowl coated with a little oil until dough doubles. Shape into desired sizes and rise til double again. Bake at 350 for 10-12 min or until golden brown.

This is a very versatile recipe. I used white flour and make hamburger and hot dog buns for a BBQ. I have been using wheat and shaping it into 2 loaves of bread.
