Ortho-Day one

Maddie and Parker have a great orthodontist! They enjoyed their first day of torture. The first few days were tricky figuring out what they could eat and how to eat it. I was thankful that I planned it right and Maddie had some time to adjust to them before she goes to girls camp next week.
Parker is doing well with all the moving and stretching that his jaw and palate are doing.  We can notice a difference in his appearance all ready! He is a bit harder to understand though, he was telling me that he was writing his name down to show all his friends at camp this week because they didn't know Parker was a name! He takes it well, I'm very thankful that we did this part of the process during the summer. School would be really hard for him right now, his pronunciation is completely off.
