I'm back

I'm just going to pretend that I haven't posted on the blog for two years!

This has been a very exciting week for the Weng's!
Andy was once again chosen for the cover photo for Doran Sensei's seminar, this is a great honor Andy-two years in a row!

Parker has been playing baseball for almost 6 weeks now, despite lots of practice at home and with his coaches he just hasn't been able to hit from the pitching machine. Last night a different coach took him aside and tried a few different techniques with him. He taught him exactly where the ball should be to hit it and to his suprise most of all, he hit it past the pitcher his  first at bat. He was so stunned it took him a minute to remember to run. Luckily he made it to first and then on to second before his team had 3 outs.
It was amazing to see his whole countenance change with self-worth and pride flowing him. I was so proud when his coach gave him a pin for his hat. Coach John is a great man, I feel very lucky to be on his team!

Madison has held her GPA high and has been asked to join the Honors Society next year, very proud of her, and so thankful she doesn't ask me for help on her homework! Her math skills have surpassed my level of expertise all ready!

Hannah was chosen to be on the school Safety patrol next year. She will be working with students to get them safely to buses and crosswalks, I know she is excited, but mostly for the early dismissal she will get! Also she has been creating sketches all week to be entered in the school's t-shirt design contest. She has all ready been chosen to be on the Amazing Race committee, and hopes to have the winning design for the shirts!

Mckinley continues to grow leaps and bounds every week. She had her first trial of a pre-school like class today and loved it! She was so excited to tell me all about it she forgot to even take a nap. I can't believe she is almost three!

I am looking forward too and also dreading the small surgery that I am having next week. I hope that it is the answer to feeling better. It is so hard to want to be healthier and look strong and fit and not be able to because of my PCOS.

I wish I had picture of all these fun events this week, but I haven't figured out how to make my phone talk to my computer and download the pictures, hopefully soon!

We started planting our garden today, it was so wonderful to have the big kids fighting about what veggies they get to grow in their own patches! Back to the farm stand tomorrow!
