We made it safe and sound! We are just getting ready for our first full day in Shanghai. The kids were up around 4 this morning., by 5, we decided to just get up!
We have a few things on our agenda today:
DH is taking his dad to the Dr.
We are going shopping to Carrefour~it is a giant grocery/ retail goods store. (Think of the biggest Walmart you have ever seen, then add 4 more stories!) They have escalators for the shopping carts! The kids love it, it is a great place for a grand adventure. We buy a lot of our gifts there, easy one stop shopping! It is also the one place in town that I can find most of the American foods that we miss while we are here. This year I am going to buy a slow-cooker for Gram and Gramps there so we can teach them some new recipes!
