Homemade oreo cookies
2 boxes chocolate cake mix
4 eggs
1 1/2 cups shortening (I used margarine)
Mix together into a very stiff dough. Roll into small balls and bake for 8-10 minutes.
Make your favorite white frosting, or cream cheese frosting. Cool cookies and frost one cookie back and add another cookie on top.
I prefer these after they have been out on the counter overnight, they set up more.
These keep well in the freezer in baggies.
